Dating ultrasound

The dating ultrasound usually takes place around 10 to 12 weeks of pregnancy.

During this ultrasound, we measure the baby to determine as accurately as possible how far along the pregnancy is and what the due date will be.

This is often also a nice moment to see how the baby has developed in the first few weeks. We take our time to look at the baby together and explain what we see on the screen.

We use the outcome of this ultrasound to determine the further monitoring schedule of the pregnancy.
