The team

Luna & Sol was founded by Shareen and Brigith. We are both midwives and have set up this practice together out of a desire to provide care that is personal and accessible.

We find it important that there is time and attention for you. We listen to what you need, provide clear information, and think along with you so that you can make choices that suit you.

Together, we form a small and involved team, which allows you to get to know us well during your pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.

With great love I work as a midwife and chose this profession because I consider it an honor to be so close during one of the most special moments in a family's life. I still enjoy this work every day, and sometimes I even shed a tear at a birth.

I find it important to provide personal care, with time and attention for who you are and what you need during this period. Together we will see what suits you and how we can make this phase as pleasant as possible. You can come to me for guidance during pregnancy and childbirth, for the placement of contraception, and I am currently further specializing in making ultrasounds.

I myself am a mother of two children, now teenagers. In my free time, I enjoy sports and take long walks with my dog, moments when I clear my mind and gain new energy.

I look forward to meeting you and being able to accompany you for a while during this special period.

With great dedication, I work as a midwife because I find it special to accompany families during such an important and personal period of their lives. The strength that women and their partners show during pregnancy and birth touches me every time.

I think it’s important that care feels personal and that there is really time for you. An appointment with us should not feel like a short visit for medical checks, but like a moment where you feel welcome and heard. I commit myself to a safe and trusted environment where everything can be discussed, big or small.

In addition to guidance during pregnancy and childbirth, you can also come to me for contraception placement. Soon, I will start the ultrasound training so that I can further develop in making ultrasounds.
